14" (36 cm.) All-cloth doll with early three-seam head, firmly-stuffed and oil-painted head, painted brown hair with forelock curls, painted brown eyes with shaded detail, black and brown upper eyeliner, accented nostrils, closed mouth with downcast lips, stitch-jointed shoulders, disc-jointed legs with wide hips, separately-stitched thumbs, well costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Kathe Kruse, the Type VII model known as "Kleines Du Mein", the petite doll was made from 1927-1930. Value Points: most endearing expression on the rare Kruse model with well-preserved original finish.
