Description
16 1/2" (42 cm.) Dark brunette hair with curly bangs and a gathered cluster of curls at her nape. Wearing tagged rose taffeta gown with lace frills at the bodice, double ruffles at the skirt hem, black velvet ribbons and bows, white taffeta and tulle petticoat, panties, seamed stockings, black heels, three-diamond earrings, cameo, solitaire, taffeta reticule with black lace and a splendid white woven bonnet decorated with a multitude of colorful flowers. Near mint condition. Alexander, model 1765, original wrist booklet, original box stamped "Renoir Elise 1765"; the doll appeared in the 1963 catalog described as "looking exactly like a Renoir painting" and this example has gorgeous complexion and most beautiful costume with all accessories.
