Description
8 1/2" (22 cm.) Each is all felt with pressed and painted facial features depicting the Brownie characters as created by Palmer Cox, each with googly eyes, spindly legs, wearing felt uniform and holding a parade instrument. The Brownie band is presented upon a wooden bandstand with patriotic bunting and banner. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Palmer Cox Brownie Band (each has original paper label). Designed and made by American artist, R. John Wright, 2007, each doll carries its original musical instrument; included are original boxes and certificates of authenticity for each figure and for bandstand which was made in a limited edition of 50. Also included is Uncle Sam Brownie in mint condition, with original label indicating that the doll is #1 Prototype of that model.
