Solid domed bisque socket head,sculpted brown topknot,forelock curl and side curls in the manner of Kewpie,blue glass sleep eyes,short painted lashes,one-stroke brows,tiny button-shaped nose,closed mouth with impish smile,composition five-piece toddler body with chubby tummy and side-hip jointing,pretty lace dress. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 240 0. Comments: Armand Marseille,circa 1915,the model was inspired by the popular Kewpie of the same era. Value Points: delightful impish character,a variation of the wigged model 241 (see preceding lot),with lovely bisque,original body and body finish.
