One-piece all-bisque figure of Kewpie seated upon a green chair,head turned to the side,right arm outstretched as though reading a book,and left arm supporting the book,with topknot,forelock curl,blue wings,and side-glancing googly eyes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: c (in circle). Comments: Kewpie,from original O'Neill designs,made in Germany,circa 1910. Value Points: rare action Kewpie in charming and realistic pose.
