14" (36 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head, small blue glass "jewel" inset eyes, modeled eyelids, eyeliner, painted brown lashes, brushstroked brows, accented nostrils, slightly-parted lips, impressed dimples at lip corners and philtrum, four porcelain upper teeth, sculpted hair under original blonde flocked hair, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body, sateen striped sailor suit with ivory collar and buttons, stockings, leather shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: SFBJ 237 Paris 4. Comments: SFBJ, circa 1912. Value Points: very choice bisque with superb definition of modeling, rich clarity of eyes, perfectly-preserved flocked hair, original body and body finish.
