Bisque shoulderhead, brown glass eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, brushstroked brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with outlined lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig in hip-length original braids, muslin stitch-jointed body, bisque forearms. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: SH 1010 dep Germany. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1885. Value Points: beautiful closed mouth in pristine original state, original fine wig, sturdy original body, wearing original traditional costume with embroidered bodice, lace ruffled blouse, woolen skirt, petticoats, striped knit stockings, shoes, and black silk cap with brass paillettes.
