Description
3" (8 cm.) seated. A naked cherub with painted wings in yellow and white with brown stripe is posed sitting, a basket of fruit held on his lap, and his arms outstretched. In one hand he holds a carving knife and in the other hand, a melon which he is slicing eagerly. Blue stamp mark on underside. Excellent condition. Germany, circa 1900.
