25" (64 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, lashes, dark eyeliner, lushly painted lashes and brows, accented nostrils, open mouth, two porcelain upper teeth, brunette human hair, composition baby body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: made in Germany JDK 257 made in Germany 64 (head) Made in Germany (body). Comments: Kestner, circa 1912. Value Points: very rare grand size with original body and body finish, very fine quality of bisque with luminous complexion, elaborate antique costume and bonnet.
