14" (36 cm.) Bisque socket head, round plump face, large blue glass "O" shaped googly sleep eyes in upper glancing gaze, thick dark eyeliner, painted curly upper lashes, side-painted brows, button-shaped nose with accented nostrils, closed mouth with wide smile, four modeled teeth, impressed dimples at lip corners philtrum and cheek centers, brunette human hair wig, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent, finish worn on hands. Marks: SFBJ 245 Paris 5 (head) (original SFBJ label on feet). Comments: SFBJ, circa 1915. Value Points: rare model with especially fine modeling which emphasizes the deep laughter lines, dimples and eye crinkles, original body and wig, antique sailor costume.
