Description
Of narrow-ribbed white pique, the dress features a fitted yoke of open-weave handmade lace framed by a pique collar front with soutache trim, and a bodice band with further soutache trim from which falls alternate vertical bands of soutache pique and open-weave lace, which are repeated at the back. The dress has bishop-style sleeves with further soutache and lace detail, and a detachable soutache-embroidered sash. For 28"-30" doll. 8" shoulder width. 18" overall length. Circa 1880.
