Description

8" (20 cm.) h. pitcher. The tall pitcher is decorated with six different amusing scenes of Brownies, mostly with multiple figures, and featuring classic models from the Palmer Cox books, including Uncle Sam, Irishman, and more. Along with a matching handled serving dish with three compartments, and showing 23 different Brownies. The pitcher is labeled "The Brownies (Smoker)" and the dish is labeled "The Brownies (Gym)". A description of the Brownies appears on the underside of each. Excellent condition. Circa 1895.
