6 1/2" (17 cm.) One-piece all-bisque woman in standing pose with inclined head as though reading the book she holds in her outstretched hands, painted facial features, original brunette mohair wig, original long silk dress, painted brown shoes and blue stockings. Condition: generally excellent, gown a bit frail at hem. Comments: Germany, Galluba & Hoffman, the model appeared in their 1914 catalog as model 405. Value Points: elegant lady is well-preserved on ebony base under glass dome.
