19" (48 cm.) Felt swivel head with pressed and painted facial features, brown side-glancing eyes, grey eyeshadow, brown painted curly upper lashes and brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with coral shaded lower lip, brunette mohair curly wig, jointing at shoulders and hips. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Italian, Lenci, from her series 110, circa 1927. Value Points: especially fine detail of pressed sculpting and painting of features, the doll wears her original organdy dress of white and pale yellow, with scalloped hem and collar, pockets, and trimmed with green felt rick-rack and pink felt flowers, undergarments, green felt shoes, and colorful felt green and pink bonnet.
