Description
35" (89 cm.) w. x 19"h x 18"d. The wooden dollhouse kitchen with open front has interior lithographed wall and floor paper to simulate various tiling patterns, an opening back door with very ornate door frame which matches the window frame on the right side. Built-in ornate cupboards with original painted and stenciled finishes include a large corner cupboard and matching cupboards and shelving which completely line the left wall. There is a tinplate stove with brass doors and copper utensils, as well as various tables and chairs, butcher block and more furnishings, and the room is abundantly finished with wonderful miniature objects including hanging oil lamps, painted tinplate coffee grinder, numerous pans and cooking tools, and more. A bisque doll in dress and apron stands in attendance. Excellent condition. Germany, circa 1890, an outstanding room is wonderfully-preserved and furnished.
