Description
20" (51 cm.) All-cloth doll, oil-painted and pressed stockinette head, painted delicate baby hair, closed eyes as though sleeping, painted lower lashes and brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with downcast lips, stockinette body with stitch-jointing at shoulders and loosely-attached legs to achieve infant-like body pose, antique baby gown. Condition: very good/excellent, hands and feet are darkened. Comments: Kathe Kruse, Type V model known as "Traumerchen", circa 1925. Value Points: rare model with beautifully-painted face and hair.
