Description
Of richly-textured navy blue serge, the coat-style dress features widely flared sides, dart-shaped back bodice, lapel collar, coat sleeves with turned up cuffs, two pockets with faux-flaps, pearl buttons extend down the entire front with the top four having handmade button holes, and the remainder as decorative. Along with a woven blue straw bonnet which is overlaid with embroidered tulle, a wide bronze-green satin bow, and a cluster of fabric lilies of the valley, with ruffled lace on the inner brim. For 12" doll. 3' shoulder width. 7" overall length. Circa 1880.
