Bisque shoulderhead, blue glass inset eyes, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils, open mouth, four porcelain teeth, blonde mohair wig, muslin stitch-jointed body, bisque forearms. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 309.6. Comments: Bahr and Proschild, circa 1890. Value Points: exceptional original condition of the rare early doll, pristine and elaborate traditional costume of Netherlands including distinctive hair ornaments, beaded bodice, and decorative velvet band on skirt.
