Bisque socket head, large blue glass paperweight inset eyes, painted lashes with "dot" highlights, rose-blushed eyeshadow, brushstroked and feathered brows, accented eye corners, shaded nostrils, slightly-parted lips with shaded details, two rows of tiny teeth, dimpled chin, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over Steiner pate, French composition fully-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent, original body and body finish. Marks: J. Steiner Bte SGDG Paris Fre A 15 (head) (Steiner paper label on torso). Comments: Jules Steiner, circa 1888. Value Points: beautiful gleaming complexion and blush with dramatic large eyes, dainty teeth, original wig, pate, body, and body finish, and wearing exquisite antique burgundy velvet dress and bonnet, undergarments, leather shoes.
