11" (28 cm.) h. 10"w. Rosewood cabinet with paneled burled double doors accented with ebony beading, ebony beaded trim at base and crest, ball feet, and interior cabinet fitted with ten interior dove-tailed drawers with wooden knobs which center a niche with three gilt-edged ebony drawers; the interior drawers pull out for access to hidden compartments, and the cabinet has cast metal and brass hardware including a very intricate lock and key. Excellent condition. Continental, early 1800s.
