16" (42 cm.) Bisque socket head, small blue glass sleep eyes, painted lashes, short brushstroked and feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with accent line between the pouty lips, brunette mohair wig, composition bent limb baby body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: K*R Simon & Halbig 115/A 42. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, their model marketed as "Phillip", circa 1912. Value Points: bright-eyed fretful child with fine luminous bisque, great antique costume and carrying little wooden abacus.
