Description
21" (53 cm.) All composition, blue sleep eyes, real lashes, smokey-grey eyeshadow, three painted lashes at each outer eye corner, closed mouth with bow-shaped dark red lips, blonde human hair in elaborate coiffure with coiled side braids which loop up into a coiled chignon at the crown and that are wrapped with a metallic tiara accented with pearls, jointing at shoulders and hips with long slender limbs. Wearing ivory brocade robe over lace underdress which forms a front center panel, with lace collar studded with black beads and a burgundy velvet banner with "ruby" brooch, petticoat, pantalets, stockings, ivory silk faille shoes, pearl dangle earrings and pearl necklace. Excellent condition of head, hair and costume, faint surface lines on face, wear to composition on lower legs and feet. Madame Alexander, 1938, "Princess Flavia" from her Portrait Series, the doll represented the character from the 1937 film, "The Princess of Zenda".
