Description
9" (23 cm.) All-composition with socket head, painted blue side-glancing eyes, closed mouth with bow-shaped lips, brunette mohair wig, jointing at shoulders and legs. She is wearing one-piece dress with flowered bodice and green skirt, and with attached striped apron, pantalets, white socks, black side-snap shoes, green head scarf. The costume has original cloth label "Peasant/by Madame Alexander NY/All Rights Reserved". Near mint condition. Alexander, 1938, the doll is presented in her original blue bow box with stamped label "Peasant".
