8" (20 cm.) The soft-paste majolica figurine depicts a Brownie standing upon a self-base which simulates stony ground, with three barrel jars arranged around him; the Brownie wears a long-tailed green jacket and checkered vest, and his cap has an open top designed for use as candle holder. Incised 3192 from the series. Excellent condition. Circa 1895, inspired by the Palmer Cox Brownie illustrations.
