5 1/2" (14 cm.) Waist-up porcelain half-doll as 18th century lady with sculpted grey hair in tendril curls onto her shoulders beneath an elegantly perched lavender grey bonnet with purple band and bows, her head posed to the side, and her arms outstretched, a Dresden rose held in her right hand. Marks: (blue bishop's staff stamp). Excellent condition. Germany, Dressel & Kister, circa 1912, the model appeared in their 1911 catalog as model 3986.
