5" (13 cm.) With gilded bronze frame having spiral-shaped post with acanthus base and beaded edging which enclosed four enamel porcelain panels with hand-painted scenes in the Louis XVI manner including winged cherubs with trumpets. Impressed "Austria" on underside. Excellent condition. Austria, late 19th century, rare model from the luxury genre.
