Description
20" (51 cm.) Bisque socket head, small blue glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, painted curly lashes, incised eyeliner, short feathered brows, accented nostrils, open mouth, outlined lips, two porcelain upper teeth, blonde mohair bobbed wig over plaster pate, composition bent limb baby body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: M made in Germany 16 JDK 211. Comments: Kestner, circa 1915. Value Points: very fine quality of bisque and sculpting with impressed dimples, original wig, plaster pate, body, body finish, and costume.
