Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate, blue glass enamel inset eyes, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with accented lips and modeled smiling expression, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig over cork pate, all-wooden lady body with dowel-articulation at shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees and ankles, ball-jointed waist. Condition: generally excellent, tiny flake at left ear lobe. Marks: F. Comments: Leon Casimir Bru, circa 1872, both the distinctive facial model and the wooden body were deposed by that firm in 1867 and 1872.
