Description
6 1/2" (17 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque torso, brown glass eyes, painted lashes and brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, blonde mohair wig, peg-jointed bisque arms and legs, painted white ribbed stockings and blue one-strap shoes with bows, wearing antique burgundy velvet coat and hat. Condition: old reglue on bisque head from lower front throat to back head rim. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1882. Value Points: beautiful doll with detail of facial painting, great costume; included is a seven-piece set of ebony bentwood furnishings with burgundy velvet seats, and a Walterhausen style miniature board game table.
