8" (20 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque torso, brown glass sleep eyes, dark painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, blonde mohair wig, peg-jointed bisque limbs, poised fingers, very muscular sculpting of legs, painted white ribbed stockings, four-lace ankle boots with little heels, antique silk costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 5. Comments: Germany, attributed to Kestner, circa 1882. Value Points: rare model with very plump face, fine bisque, muscular definition of body.
