Description
8" (20 cm.) Wooden horse with dappled white coat, glass eyes, open mouth, cloth mane, leather ears, with original platform. Along with the bisque-head bareback lady with sculpted blonde hair in topknot, painted features, original costume and included two hoops. Generally excellent. American, Schoenhut, circa 1910, first version of the dappled horse, it was marketed as "The Beautiful Educated Horse".
