12" (30 cm.) basket. 5" doll. An octagon-shaped woven sewing basket with ruffled lace lining and bottom shelf with pink silk bows contains a small bisque head doll with blue glass sleep eyes, open mouth, waist-length blonde mohair wig, five-piece composition body and lavish aqua silk bonnet and dress with long train which forms into a pincushion; along with various other sewing notions and lace. Excellent condition. Germany, circa 1900.
