12" (30 cm.) Polychromed terra cotta head depicting bald-headed man with lock of hair at back of head, enamel eyes, mouth modeled open with teeth and tongue tip, modeled moustache and goatee, large ears, tow-wrapped posable armature body, carved wooden lower arms and legs, wearing yellow silk harem pants, embroidered shirt, vest, wrapped turban, and carrying brass trumpet. Excellent condition. Late-1700s.
