Bisque socket head, small blue glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, painted curly lashes, short feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with wistful expression, accent line between the lips, blonde mohair wig over plaster pate, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: F made in Germany 10 206 (head) Germany (body). Comments: Kestner, circa 1912. Value Points: the rarity of the model is enhanced by superb modeling such as crinkles around eye corners and lip edges, finest quality of bisque and painting, original wig, pate, body, body finish, and antique costume, bonnet and shoes.
