All muslin doll with stitched-on flat-dimensional face with dramatically hand-painted features, large blue eyes with white eyedots, lushly-painted lashes, feathered brows over shaded undercoat, outlined nose, accented nostrils, closed mouth with outlined lips, rosy cheeks, auburn hand-tied human hair wig, muslin stitch-jointed body, leather hands, antique cotton dress and undergarments. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: American, late 19th century. Value Points: wonderfully-painted highly-stylized features are well-preserved.
