Description
23" (58 cm.) Bisque socket head, blue glass side-glancing eyes, dark upper eyeliner, painted lower lashes, mohair lashes, accented nostrils, open mouth, outlined lips, six porcelain teeth, pierced ears, brunette human hair hand-tied wigs, French composition body with metal-hinge hips which when "walked" cause the head to turn from side to side; and with pull-string in torso which allows the arm to "throw kisses". Condition: generally excellent, eyes do not flirt, some paint wear on fingers. Marks: Depose SFBJ 8. Comments: SFBJ, circa 1900. Value Points: very pretty child with lovely bisque, walking and kiss-throwing mechanism, antique costume.
