Description
9 1/2" (24 cm.) Of curly cream mohair with black painted ears and eye surrounds, amber glass eyes, black embroidered nose, swivel head and jointed legs, upright tail, thick brown leather collar. Excellent overall condition with some light lacking mohair on nose and left leg. Germany, Steiff, circa 1916, the dog was marketed as "Caesar", with original underscored F Steiff button in ear. The dog was created in homage to King Edward VII of England whose favorite dog had been named Caesar.
