Description
8" (20 cm.) Including a muslin stuffed doll with flat-dimensional face having faintly-inked features, and wearing old gown; and very crude wooden stick "doll" with attached costume. Included is an ink-script note which reads, in part, "this beautiful specimen...by an eleven year old youngster was supposed to be the husband and father of all my dolls. I cannot say much for his looks...Imagination is wonderful". As found condition. American, late 1800s.
