20" (51 cm.) Bisque socket head, painted facial features, large brown eyes with shaded details, black upper eyeliner, white eyedots, single-stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth appearing as though open with painted row of teeth, smiling expression with shaded and accented lips, blonde mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent, few minor wig pulls at rim and back of head. Marks: 151 S&H 2. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1910, from their very rare art character series. Value Points: the rare model is virtually never found in this larger size which allows for full definition of sculpted facial details, choice bisque and painting, original body and body finish, lovely antique costume, superb wig.
