9" (23 cm.) h. chest. 7 1/2"h. desk. Two hand-crafted furnishings include a chest with three lower drawers surmounted by two handkerchief drawers, each with brass knobs; and a drop-front desk with four narrow wide drawers and interior niches, with brass knobs. Generally excellent. Loring and Cushing of Hingham, Massachusetts, circa 1865.
