18" (46 cm.) Bisque socket head, painted facial features, shaded blue eyes, thick black upper eyeliner, one-stroke tapered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with very full lips in pensive expression, brunette mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent, few minor wig pulls around crown rim. Marks: K*R 114 46. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, circa 1910, their model marketed as "Gretchen". Value Points: very fine sculpting of expressive wistful features, fine quality of bisque and painting, antique costume, original body and body finish.
