19" (48 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head with rich ebony complexion, black painted hair with modeled details, painted brown eyes, thick black upper eyeliner, painted brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth modeled as though open, coral-shaded lips, ebony composition bent limb baby body, antique dress. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: K*R 100 58. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, circa 1909, the premiere model of the firm's art character series. Value Points: very rare flawless ebony black complexion, deeply-sculpted features, original body with original matching ebony finish and well-details musculature sculpting and curled fingers and toes.
