19" (48 cm.) Bisque shoulderhead of adult lady with oval face and elongated throat, blonde sculpted hair waved softly at the sides of her face and captured into a sculpted black snood with black edging and large bows at each side of face, painted blue downcast eyes, red and black upper eyeliner, single-stroke brows, accented nostrils, outlined closed mouth, muslin stitch-jointed body, bisque lower arms, nice antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1865. Value Points: rare model whose beautifully-detailed sculpted snood is designed to appear prominently at front view of face as well as back of head.
