Bisque swivel head with cafe-au-lait complexion on matching kid-edged bisque shoulderplate with modeled bosom and shoulderblades, brown glass paperweight inset eyes with spiral threading, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, brown brushstroked brows with feathered detail, shaded nostrils, closed mouth with defined tongue tip, outlined lips, pierced ears, dark brunette mohair wig over cork pate, brown kid bebe body with slender torso, kid-over-wooden upper arms, cafe-au-lait bisque forearms and hands, Chevrot hinged hips, wooden lower legs. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Bru Jne 7 (head) Bte SGDG (forehead). Comments: Leon Casimir Bru, circa 1884. Value Points: outstanding example of the very rare model, with flawless gleaming complexion, original body with perfect hands, fine antique silk dress and bonnet which may be original, undergarments, leather shoes.
