13" (33 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate, grey glass enamel eyes with spiral threading, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, arched brows, accented eye corners and nostrils, closed mouth with accented lips, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, padded stockinette-over-metal armature torso with shapely waist, bisque hands, lower legs and bare feet. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 0 (head and shoulders) F.G. (shoulders). Comments: Gaultier, circa 1875, with rare original body deposed by Pannier and made by Gesland. Value Points: very rare smallest size of this body, the petite poupee with exquisite sculpting of hands and feet, finest facial complexion and painting, and lovely silk costume. Included is wooden chair.
