6" (15 cm.) x 4 1/2". The bisque lithopane with raised design of a courting couple is designed to hold to the light for the strong image to be revealed, Stamped in red on the back "M.Ruge Depose P.R. Bte SGDG". Excellent condition. Very rare to find. French, circa 1885.
