Description
20" (51 cm.) l. each. Depicting a pair of resting lambs,their legs folded beneath,with white fur cover over paper-mache forms,and with detachable heads with glass eyes that adhere to the lamb bodies by metal hooks. Hidden clockwork mechanism within the body causes the head to bob up and down when wound. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: French,circa 1885. Value Points: rare mechanical lambs in fine large display size,excellent state of presentation.
