Description
21" (54 cm.) Bisque socket head, painted facial features, shaded brown eyes with thick upper eyeliner, heavy eyelids, accented eye corners and nostrils, closed mouth with very full lips in petulant pose, blonde mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, wearing pretty antique costume, undergarments, shoes and stockings. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: K*R 109 54. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, from their art character series, circa 1910, the model was marketed as "Elise". Value Points: rare model with very fine sculpting giving high character definition to the features, and with fine matte bisque that is beautifully painted, original wig, body finish, and lovely costume.
