Bisque socket head, blue glass sleep eyes, painted lashes, brushstroked and feathered brows with decorative glaze, accented eye corners, shaded nostrils, open mouth, outlined lips, two porcelain upper teeth, brunette mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: G made in Germany 11 (head) Germany 2 1/2 (body). Comments: Kestner, circa 1912. Value Points: very eager expression, deeply-modeled features, original body and body finish, wearing antique black velvet Sunday best costume with silk collar, cap, black stockings, saddle shoes.
