14" (36 cm.) Paper-mache head depicting an older child with wide beaming smile,rosy complexion,blue painted upper glancing eyes,black upper eyeliner,blushed cheeks,brunette mohair wig,carton torso and arms with expressively posed hands,hinged hips,one-piece legs. When wound,the doll sways back and forth. Condition: generally excellent,mechanism is intact albeit needs adjustment. Comments: Tata,designed by French artist Poulbot for Roullet et Decamps,circa 1910. Value Points: fine original painting of the cheery-faced child,with original costume.
